We’re upgrading our Clinical IT System!
We believe this new system will provide a more efficient and effective way of managing your healthcare needs by introducing better ways of working for our practice, and also enable us to be better connected to other NHS Services both locally and nationally.
We are doing all we can to minimise disruption for our patients during this transition, however there will be some impact on our services. Please note the following:
- All Online Services prescription requests must be with us by 11.08.2020 as the service will be suspended on this date
- All EPS prescription requests (electronically transferred to a pharmacy) must be with us by end of 11.08.2020 , if medication is needed before 26.08.2020. Scripts issued during this time will be printed on Paper, and must be collected by patient / pharmacy.
- Patients will NOT be able to request test results between 11.08.2020 and 26.08.2020 . However, our GPs will contact all patients whose results need following up urgently.
- Routine referrals between 11.08.2020 and 26.08.2020 will be completed as soon as possible after 26.08.2020 . Urgent referrals will NOT be delayed.
- We will NOT be able to register patients for online services during this time
- A new online system will be available for you to register with and we will provide information on how to do this via email in the next few weeks. You will be able to register for the new online service from the Last week of September 2020.
- During this time ONLY, you can submit prescription requests by emailing them to firstname.lastname@example.org
This is not a decision we have taken lightly, but believe both staff and patients will benefit significantly from the new system. Thank you for your patience.
We want to assure our patients that we are still open. Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic we have made some changes to the way we book your appointments. To help reduce the spread of Coronavirus all patients wishing to book appointments will be triaged. You can also do this on the NHS App which is available for free on iOS and Android devices. If you need support to complete an online consultation, please call the Bexley eConsult Line on 020 8269 3406. The online consultation will be reviewed with in one working day and then we will contact you with advice for next steps, which may include a telephone appointment with a Clinician or possibly a face to face appointment.
