Telephone Advice and 'call barring'
If you need advice about a medical problem, please submit an eConsult. If we receive your eConsultation before 12.00 PM then a Clinician will respond with advice on the same working day. e-Consultation received after 12.00 PM will be replied to by the next working day.
If you cannot e-Consult then an urgent telephone consultation with a clinician can be arranged. This is done strictly on the grounds if you belong to any vulnerable group,are old,frail or have a disability . If your telephone call is received before 12.00 PM then a Clinician will call you on the same working day. Telephone calls received after 12.00 PM will be replied to by the next working day. Please remember, if you have 'call barring' on your own telephone we will be unable to ring you back.
