RapidHealth Information

All acute appointments or Admin requests are directed through the Rapid Health on-line system.

Rapid Health is an NHS-approved, AI-driven triage tool. Patients complete a short questionnaire, which is reviewed and used to offer an appropriate appointment instantly or send the request to the practice for action within 48 hours.

Book an appointment or submit an admin request using the link below between hours of 8:00am to 6:30pm:

https://belvedere-consult.uk.rapidhealth.co.uk

If you’re unable to do this online, please call Reception or visit us in person. A Patient Service Advisor will complete the questionnaire and submit it on your behalf, and you will be given an appointment as usual.

Please note: if there is no genuine reason for not submitting the request online yourself, you may be asked to do so.

All patients must answer questions online or via the Reception Team when booking. This helps ensure you are given the right appointment and allows the clinician to review your information in advance, so they can focus on providing quality care.

Smart Triage via Rapid Health identifies same-day medical requests and books them into available on-the-day slots. If all urgent slots are filled, the request is reviewed by a clinician and appropriate action is taken within 24 hours.

All medical and admin requests for children under 16 are reviewed by our team. Appointments are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, after which patients are appropriately signposted.

Home visits are provided for medical reasons only if required on medical grounds. Patients who are elderly, frail and on housebound list can request a home visit. Home visits are not provided for convenience and are done on medical grounds. Please request home visit by calling the surgery by 10:00am. This enables us to plan our visiting rounds more efficiently. Of course, the surgery is better equipped than the doctor's bag, so please come in unless your illness prevents you from doing so. Our Clinicians will assess your request and may call you to discuss it. If they feel a home visit is appropriate, they will usually visit in the afternoon after morning surgery.

Every patient needs to provide an email address to the surgery so that you can be emailed details of your appointment booking.

To allow you to do this easily, every patient been sent a text which you can reply to giving your email address. You can also update your email or mobile number via NHS App. This will be stored confidentially on your medical record.

Rapid Health is available 8:00am to 6:30pm, Mondays to Fridays (except for bank holidays).

When booking an appointment, the GPs and Clinicians with available appointments will be shown and you can then choose from them.

All our appointments both on the day and days or weeks ahead will be available on the system. After completing the Rapid Health questions an appointment will be offered within an appropriate time frame.

Patients will be offered an appointment with the most appropriate clinician for the problem described.

Once you have completed our triage questionnaire, we will offer an appointment in the most appropriate time frame. If you have not received an appointment, it means that your request has been passed to the Doctor to review. Reception will be in contact within 48 hours.

To be directed to the right clinician, you must provide specific information on the form.  This is saved directly on to your medical record but goes no further. If you need help navigating the questionnaire or our website, you can speak confidentially to one of our Patient Service Advisors at the surgery who can assist you. All our Patient Service Advisors follow a strict code of confidentiality just like the rest of our staff.

The clinician you see will book your follow up appointment if this is indicated.

You must still complete the Rapid Health questionnaire online. Once reviewed by a doctor, Reception will contact you to offer an appointment within one working day, or the same day if the request is urgent and received in time.

Rapid Health is not currently available for children but may be introduced in the future.

All patients will receive a text/email confirming their appointment. In this message it will tell you to contact the surgery if you require an interpreter or assistance.

  1. Requests for a new or extended sick note should be submitted via Questions and Admin (16+): https://belvedere-consult.uk.rapidhealth.co.uk.
  2. If you are unable to submit an online request due to a disability, reception can submit the request on your behalf.
  3. Please note that requests for a new sick note without supporting documentation (e.g. hospital discharge summary), or where a clinical review is required, may result in the practice contacting you with a self-booking appointment link to assess your request.

Please outline your request or query by using Questions and Admin (16+) tab on https://belvedere-consult.uk.rapidhealth.co.uk after which surgery will contact you within 72 hours with appropriate action.

Please check your test results via the NHS App. The practice does not routinely contact patients with normal results. If a result is abnormal and requires discussion, the practice will contact you.

If you have any queries, please submit them via Questions and Admin (16+): https://belvedere-consult.uk.rapidhealth.co.uk. Occasionally, results may not be received, so please ensure all requested tests have been returned and commented on (e.g. normal, satisfactory, or abnormal).

If you are unable to submit an online query due to a disability, please speak to reception, who can submit the query on your behalf.

All such queries will be processed within 72 hours.

You will still be able to use the NHS app to access medical records, test results and prescriptions but you will not be able to use it to book appointments.

Nurses, Health Care Assistants and Pharmacists appointments are not bookable online, this may change in the future. All other clinical staff will be booked via our triage system.

Our reception team will be in contact with you to arrange the 8-week appointments.

These appointments do not require a triage form. Please contact the surgery and reception will book this for you.

Nurse appointments (including long-term reviews, dressings, and immunisations) are not bookable online. Please contact the surgery to book.

For travel advice, submit a travel risk assessment via the Questions and Admin (16+) tab on the Rapid Health Questionnaire. The surgery will respond within 72 hours.

All patients registered with a Bexley GP (or a resident in Bexley but have yet to registered with a Bexley GP practice) can now request a GP appointment between 6.30pm and 8pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 8pm Saturdays and Sundays (including bank holidays).

Booking is easy – patients should contact  Belvedere Medical Centre by  making Questions and admin (16+)  request at  https://belvedere-consult.uk.rapidhealth.co.uk during normal operating hours, and ask for a weekday evening or weekend appointment.

This will be passed on to our admin, who will respond to your request if appointments are available at GP Hub.

You will be offered a face-to-face appointment, but your appointment may also take place by phone or video.

We are working with our neighbouring GP surgeries to offer these additional appointments, you may be offered an appointment from one of these other surgeries. Our surgery is part of a small group of surgeries called a Primary Care Network and we work together in several ways. Appointments will usually be at Northumberland Heath Medical Centre Hind Crescent, Erith, DA8 3DB  but in winter months for respiratory conditions could be at Albion Surgery 6 Pincott Road, Bexleyheath, Kent, DA6 7LP.

Surgery may also choose to give you one of the GP hub appointments when a normal appointment at the surgery has been requested if acceptable to you.

To book an evening or weekend appointment after the GP has closed, call 111.
